U2M - Through the Cracks Cider

After we finished bottling Just Plain we started a cider with Big B's Apple juice.

Ingredients:

Yeast notes: one package of YeastLab Whitbread Ale Yeast was started on January 31, 2012

Februay 1, 2012 - The apple juice was frozen after purchase and set out to thaw the night before, when the yeast was started. It was still pretty cold (still some frozen bits) when the juice was poured into a carboy. We pitched the yeast, which got a bit of a shock from the cold, but after a few days (and a bit of honey water) it was bubbling nicely.

March 28, 2012 - bottled
